I'm thinking the offset of the rim. I have the CCW's with the Red Devil Brakes and no problems. I have heard of some nightmares with other aftermarket as well as stock brakes and the wheels. Call CCW and see what they can do. Good luck!

I found out the problem, when i put the 14 rear rotors on you have to bring out the caliper because of the bigger rotor, so now my spoke is touching the the caliper down by the lip.i'm gonna need i spacer,sh!t i hope ccw can tell me the right spacer to use..Thanks venom..i dont wanna down size my rotors for this, just had the rims done ,center matte black with a high gloss black lip..:bang:

Depending on amount of interference, you MAY be able to grind a little off the caliper, if the "rub" is incidental...or you may need a spacer, which are available in varying widths. Contact (no pun intended...) John @ CCW and I'm sure he can advise best course of action.
How much "contact", depth-wise, are we talking?

I had the same problem when I got my 19" iForge wheels. It's really not that big of a deal to fix, depending on the amount of interference. I carefully marked the area of contact, and ground it down until it cleared. The area of contact doesn't affect the action of the calipers, or their strength, at least in my application. Here's a picture of the results.

BTW, after almost two years, I haven't had any problems.

John is a very responsive vendor to any customer problems. I had CCW classics, and their service is tops.

As far as the amount of material I removed, it was about 1/8" or so right off the high point in the center. Not important structurally, or functionally, unless (maybe) handling the stress of road racing.

I have CCW 505 on my C5Z. If I use spacers, will I be able to use the C6Z brakes?

Yeah, I wasn't hopeful to be honest. Think I'll be upgrading to some HREs at some point. I like the CCWs, but no BBK, and cleaning problems, make them a bad choice for me.
