Need Help QUICK. Where's PCM

I'm in the final stages of my A&A supercharger install and am about to install a new PCM for the larger injectors/supercharger. Can someone tell me where the PCM is located? It's not the same place as my last vette. I'm looking for the ACTUAL PCM, NOT the diagnostic port. Thank You.

Derrick

Derrick,

What year do you have?? if it's a C5/Z06 it's behind the inner fender well (Right Side) You will see some I think 7 or 8 MM screws that you will remove along with 1 plastic plug type clip.

Hope this helps,

Ernie

Derrick:

Ernie is right.

Look up on the top header under "SEARCH" and type in PCM, there is a www.crossedflags.com article mentioned on a couple threads by members on the removal of the PCM.

Tazin,
As mentioned, it is in the right front fender behind the right front wheel.
Make sure to unhook the battery, then put the front up on jacks stands and take off the RF wheel. Remove the black plastic cover directly behind where the wheel is (about ten 7 mm screws) and take the cover off. The PCM is behind that.
Two wire bundles screw in the bottom of it.
Two screws hold the bracket that holds the PCM in. One in front is easy to see. The other in the back is impossible to see unless you take the whole quarterpanel off. If you take the easy to see screw off, and losen the back one about half way, then you can pivot the bracket far enough out to get the PCM out without having to remove that pesky back screw. Installation is opposite.

As an aside, why a new PCM? Why didn't you just reprogram the one that is in it?

P.S. Welcome to the forum.
