Passenger Side Door WIll NOT Lock...

What could cause the passenger side door of my 02Z06 not to lock? It can be manually locked but pushing the lock button on either door does not activate the locking mechanism nor does using the keyfob. Have I programmed it in such a way through the "Configure Options" process to deactivate the passenger side lock or is this dealer worthy?

ANY help or ideas are appreciated - I am stumped....

I've always found lucily by disconnecting the battery a few minutes and reconnect it resets/clears some bug that may be in the system. This should clear any computer probems unless you have other problems.

I always try to use the easiest methods first on these cars because of the vast computerization they rely on.

Good luck and check out "SEARCH" on the above header you might find your probem there.

I was not aware that this problem was so widespread or that there was a TSB on it. Can someone post a copy of the TSB or direct me to a place where I can read/print it? Thanks.

Mine started doing that today. Can't lock the door with the fob, or by driving, only manually. Where can I find the TSB that you guys are talking about??

My driver's side has been intermittant for a month now. I unwittingly left my door unlocked a couple times before I figured out it was happening. I'm going to ask the dealership to look at it. The TSB number would be good to have if someone has it.

I had that problem with my driver door... I took it back to Chevy and they replaced my door module. Problem fixed!
