Question regarding throttle,blip throttle button

Does anyone know of a way to hook up a button that would allow you to blip the throttle while down shifting, rather then heel toe? Your assistance is appreciated.
regards

Re: Question regarding throttle, blip throttle button

Do you have a C6 or C5?

I have been looking at this for my C5Z. After studying the manual, it appears that there are 3 potentiometers ganged together as input to the PCM from the foot pedal. I had hoped it was just one, but I guess they needed redundancy for safety. Unfortunately, the 3 pots have different values and go in different directions with increasing throttle.

I have never been able to heel toe shift, so I planned to use a Hurst shifter ball with integral momentary switch as the actuator. Unfortunately, once I discovered the complexity, I have not been back to look at it. I would buy such a kit if it were available.

Re: Question regarding throttle, blip throttle button

Just set your idle to 3000rpm - that way revs never drop below 3 grand when the clutch is depressed
