Rear-View Mirror Radar Detector

Have been looking for a source for the rear-view mirror radar detector holder. I have searched the forum and can't seem to find the link I read about last year. Any help greatly appreciated. Oh by the way, I have a Beltronics 985.

Contact http://www.greatlakestrophies.com/ They have one for the Valentine 1 which allows it to mount to the rearview mirror. Not sure about other detectors though.

I have thei V1 rearview mirror mount but never used it. I mounted it to the windsheild with the suction cups to the left of the mirror instead and hardwired it. The above link is probably the one you saw however.

I have not heard of a unit that is inside of a rear view...

I hardwired mine in..Used the power from the rear view and mounted it right above the rear view...Totally stealth until you are seated in the car...Still has great range, even with the darker tint across the top of the glass...

I remember reading on the BMW 5 series board about a guy who disassembled rear view mirrors and installed the V1 stealth display in them - here is the site: http://apexcone.com/Radar/RadarLove.html. I'm not sure if he's still doing it.

I think Ecklers has one in their catalog which attaches
to the rear view mirror.
