I have heard both in person, I chose the Borla's. They are high quality and I picked up 12 hp on the dyno. The fit, finish and installation was perfect. I like the deeper sound of the Borla's but the SLP's may be slightly louder, depending if you choose to use the baffles or not. Also the SLP's have 4 tips, where the Borla's have 2 if that is a concern for you.

I just installed the Corsa Z titanium Competition Series and I have yet to find anything that sounds as aggressive as this system. Try going to corsaperformance.com to listen to the system. Make sure you are listening to the system that doesn't have mufflers. Not only does it sound unbelievable but it also saved me 17.5 lbs. over my stock system. If you would like to see pics on my car then go to my homepage as listed in my profile!!! Good luck. Greg

Both systems were too noisy for my liking. The SLP was deafening( so much resonance, you could not hear yourself think). The Borla system has a very nice tone, no resonance, but I did not like the back-firing on de-accelleration :( . Other than that, it sounded great, and fit perfect. I am very happy with the stock mufflers (with no pre-cats and TPIS headers). Was just looking for a little more HP. :bang:
I never heard the SLP but everyone says they are WAY LOUD! I like to converse at 70 mph without yelling!
 I found the BORLA's just perfect... NO resonance at cruise speeds and just awesome at 6000rpms!
It is not even a choice!

The Corsa Titanium Race System is the BEST in :
1. Sound
2. Workmanship
3. Performance
4. Weight
5. Space (makes room for rear mounted Trans & Diff Cooler)
6. Factory Support
7. Availability
Yeah but if I am not mistaken, the Corsa Race Ti system is about 4 times as expensive??? Borla Stingers go for just under 500 and isnt the Corsa over 2K???
I listened to a sound clip of the Borla's........is it me, or does the system sound like a motorcycle????
When the car is going through the gears, it sounded almost like a motorcycle.........
Have the borlas on my z and was running the car at watkins glen. After my run one of the spectators came over and told me the z sounded like an indy car on the track. My only complaint with the exhaust is i can still hear the radio.

I feel the same about the exhaust note on the borla's (motorcycle sound) I'm lookingfor the RAW V8 muscle car sound and an exhaust I can hear threw the helmet at the track?
I ordered the Corsa Z for mine! Keeps with the Ti theme in the exhuast and sounds very much like a Ferrari (very exotic and loud!) Should be here in another week. Thats the route I would go if you dont mind the two tips and price.
