You know, I've seen a number of references along the way to the speed shop Cartek. Every time I drive to the grocery store or have occasion to be cruising down South Avenue in Garwood, NJ (which is pretty often), I pass a speedshop called Cartek. Never did I realize until today that it's the Cartek often mentioned here. How funny. The place is literally about 3/4 of a mile from my house. I guess all those modified-"looking" Vettes parked in their lot should have been a hint. I'm going to have to stop by there and have a talk with those guys, see if they're willing to "take care" of a local guy looking for about 500 RWHP/RWTQ.

I'm going there this weekend to have them evaluate my ride and write me an estimate. I'll suggest to them becoming a forum vendor when I stop by to rap about doing my 436 big bore aluminum block makeover.

Z06 UK: If you seriously would like for me to ask about your flywheel, I'd be more than happy to. That sucks that they've taken so long to get it to you. If you end up calling yourself, ask to speak with Dave. He's a cool guy and very helpful. Have they given a reason why it's taken so long?
