Steering wheel replacement

I just sent a wheel out to Ken King to have recovered (Blk/Red),and wondered if anybody here has replaced their steering wheel? I will follow the All-Data procedure for disabling the Air Bag, but wondered if ,once dis-armed, if it will fit through the wheel without disconnecting it completely. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

To remove the steering wheel you have to remove the air bag. There are two screws from the back side of the wheel that have to be removed. Once the air bag is removed it have to disconnect the wiring, remove the center bolt and get special puller arms to remove the wheel.

The first time my wheel was removed the dealer had to cut it off because they couldn't pull it off. The new puller legs just don't work to well on wheel that are stuck on.

Once you get the wheel off it all down hill from there. If you have any questions, I've done this five times, just give me a PM.
