Hey, maybe you guys know something about this...When I shift after winding out a gear my car makes a sort of screech noise, sounds like a mix of belt slippage and a blow of valve. I'm not quite sure where it's coming from or what it is...any thoughts?
Either Intake Manifold noise, which is a fairly common complaint, or just plain belt squeel. There's a TSB for the Intake noise, but before you waste time on that, try a little Belt Dressing and see if the noise goes away.
