T1 Sway Bar End Links or Something Else?

I am thinking about adding T1 Sway Bars. Should I stick with the T1 end links, or can better less noisy endlinks be purchased?

There are ones with teflon or other plastic in the ball joints which don't rattle, etc. I have ones from Guldstrand Motorsports which work fine.

Hi Bob! For partial use as a daily driver, I think you'll be happier if you get the aftermarket ones. My stock T1 endlinks rattle like crazy...

Brad, thanks for the advice. I found a good price on a used rear T1 bar. I am thinking about buying a new front bar and front and rear Teflon coated end-links. Do I need anything else?

You need the bushings or insulators which go around the bars for mounting. They are available from GM parts direct. look under performance parts and then T1 for the C5.

I agree. The T1 bars have a larger diameter than the stock bar, so you need a different rubber insert where the bar is mounted to the frame.

I know I've replaced my sway bar bushings at least once, but don't have the part number handy. You might get the bushings with a new front bar, and you may be able to get the rear bushings with the used rear T1 bar. I didn't install my T1 bars the first time, so not sure what they came with.

I have had the T-1 bar end liks on mine for 31k, and the only time they make noise is at the end of the driveway, then again I may have gotten the only quiet pair.
