For those who trailer their Zs....

What TIRE do you trust most for your trailer/Z hauler?

Have used... Carlisles, Loadstars before on my boat trailers.
Never used Tow Masters ....

Currently running with a set of Wrangler, light truck tires OK, but about 50% worn.

I just ordered a pair of Goodyear Marathons (225/75/R15) D rated... 2540# load off of tirerack. Never used them before... any comments?

Almost went back to Carlisles, but read some negative posts about losing treads/blowouts, etc....

Thanks in Advance...

I have the GY marathon on my 46' tri axle and I am satisfied with the way they tow and wear. I have replaced a couple but I put about 25k miles on per year. Good Choice!

Agree with Dave - I've had excellent service from Goodyear Marathons, several sets; on boat and car trailers. Be sure and balance them well on initial mount up. Some people make the mistake of thinking they don't need balancing because they'll be driving at lower than normal speeds on trips...

Thanks guys. That is what I have been hearing!

I only ordered a pair for the rear axle of my trailer, as the fronts are looking too good to replace. But, I might bite on another pair.
