Tinting Rear Window: Magoops Any Good?

Had my windows tinted, went with 35% all around and I'm really liking it.

I have 1 question about the rear window and the dot matrix at the top. The tints are not sticking all the way up. The shop did what they could but they said (and after much research I agree) that it's impossible to get the tint to stick around all the dots.

I'm thinking of trying Magoops or waiting for it to dry and then trying to force it to stick more. I'm wondering if you guys have tried Magoops and what you think of it. I have read about sanding not always working and I don't really want to paint it or put black vinyl/tape up there. Maybe it's just me but I like everything to be perfect and the top 1" of that tint is far from.

I had no problem w/ the Limo tint I had put on 4 yrs ago. Still looks badass

It's a 2004. You managed to get the tint to stick all the way up to the top jbm? From the outside mine looks kind of ugly up there.

Yea, Doesn't seem to be any problem at all. I didn't even know about the bumps till I read ur post. I checked & my Z has them too. I never noticed, Lol. But the tint is still sticking fine... I had a local shop do the job, & the only problem they stated was w/ the rear view mirror not coming off for the windshield strip. They were afraid of breaking the thinner zo6 windshield.

My local tint shop was still smoothing out the air pockets around the dots 2 weeks after the tint job was done. It looks a lot better now, but there still is some gaps around the dots.

Mine is a '01 and it has limo tint all the way around. It has no air bubbles in the back. I would make sure they do it to your satisfaction and if they don't get your money back and try another shop. I live in a small town in Montana and i checked there is 11 shops that do tint....you shouldn't have any problem finding someone else.....IMHO
