So I got a tire inflator kit but it didn't come with the cord that wraps around the handle and attaches to the trunk. Anyone have one? I want my car to have all the original stuff if I can help it.
Edit: I got the part number (10434786) for something called a 'Tire Inflator Strap' but I'm thinking this is the strap that goes around the bottom of the kit, not the top.

Re: Tire Inflator Kit Cord
There is only one "cord" or strap that secures the kit to the car as shown on my 2004 Z06:
I have a giant zip lock bag with my jacking pucks, gloves, tire plug kit etc. that fits nicely against the tire kit (removed for picture) that prevents the kit from banging around inside the trunk.

Hey Yuma, your kit doesn't have strap on the bottom? My trunk has this 2-inch wide, 1-ft long strap attached at the bottom of that storage bin that is meant to slip around the bottom of the inflator kit. I thought maybe that's what the part was.

No bottom strap on mine and I got my car new. Maybe they stopped using them or someone added it?

Mine has the strap you describe.

Interesting... I guess they forgot mine?
Edit: This has been bugging me so I did a closer look and low and behold I found the bottom strap that holds the kit in place. It had gotten scrunched up on the bottom and I couldn't easily see it without removing the kit itself. Bottom strap is now in place at the bottom of the kit.

I was all ready to tell you it can hide underneath and when I get to the bottom of the thread, you ruined my fun.
