Just purchased OEM C6 Z06 Tires for my C5 and cannot make a decision on which tire size to go with on the rears, 325,335,or 345. will there be any brake clearance issues?
I used to run C5Z rear wheel sin front (18 x 10.5) and repro C5Z06 18 x 12 rears with 305/30/18 and 335/30/18's in Kuhmo's and the Toyo R888's.
In 2015 I switched to OEM C6Z wheels with OEM 275/3518 and 325/30/19. This year I switched to C6 GS wheels with the same tire sizes. I also went with Bridsgestones - what a mistake. No traction.
From what I see there are slim to no choices in the 19" size. Its 325 or 345. And then you have to match your front.
I am seriously thinking of getting a set of C7 Z06 wheels to give me access to the 19/20 tire options.
what modifications were needed for the rims to work on the c5, im confused because some say you need spacer or a hub centric adapter, and some just install them with no modifications.
