tires question

Before I got my Vette, I had bought new tires for my 97 SS, 275/40/17. Instead of losing money on them trying to sell tires with less than 300mi on it, how would it affect the Z if use these for my front tires whenenver I need new tires. I know they are a little bit wider, but would this affect the speedo or any other part of the Z?

I have 275/40-17s on my front stock wheels. They work and fit fine.

What everyone else has said. I ran 275/40/17 up front with no issues.
