The differance between 255 and 265 is 10cm, about 1/4 inch in width and the outside diameter will be very slightly smaller. Should not be a problem but, i have to ask why you would want to go smaller?

Go to this site and plug in your tire sizes.
in your case there is very little difference.
less than a 1/4 inch inch in sidewall height
(.20)

by putting the smaller tire on the front with the larger tires on the back you are increasing the static understeer considerably. The car will push considerably and will handle like a truck.
