Tuners Northern Indiana??

Hey all,

I am considering some mods: Vararam, Supermaxx. I want to get the Z computer tuned after the mods, but don't really know where to take it, or how much it should cost. I found Dynotech Engineering in Fort Wayne, In., but they quoted me $500 for a NA tune and that didn't include the air/fuel sampling bung which was another $56. I know they are a rated tuner on the board, but is that price in line with others?? WOW! Seems like a lot to me for just a computer tune on the dyno. Anyone around Northern Indiana know of a GOOD tuner that will do it for less? I'm willing to travel 200 or so miles to save a few bucks.

Tim

Have you checked with Lingenfelter in Decatur. According to Yahoo Maps it's 139 miles from you.

They are a Forum Vendor and one of the best in the business.

Good luck.

I guess my biggest question is, is $500 normal for a tune after adding intake and exhaust?

Go to Speed Inc. in Schaumburg. I paid $375 and they did a great job. They gave me a discount for being a forum member.
