Typical mods - California Emissions proof??
My last set of wheels (modified to stage IV) passed smog in CA every two years, but there was a threat that further mods might handicap me when it came time to smog. I did not continue with X-pipe, headers, etc...
My Z06 isn't due in until end of September, but as I research potential performance upgrades, I fear I'll run into the same issue as with my 300ZX TT.
Any CA Z06 owners, or other Z06 owners who submit to Smog checks, have advice on which mods potentially force the Z06 over the edge into a resulting smog-fail?
I've read about the X-pipes, headers, intakes and supercharges, but I am struggling with long-term planning as I don't know where I must stop in order to keep 'er streetable.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Signed,
A newbie in the family
