We all know about using a CAGS disable so you can shift from 1-2 whenever you feel like it. This might be old news, but it's the first time I've heard about it. Someone used LS1 Edit to change the CAGS settings so that it will lock out 2nd when ABOVE a certain speed.
Stock, CAGS kicks at something like 20mph-40mph, with additional stuff needed like engine load, oil temperature. Maybe some other stuff that I don't remember and don't want to look up

Anyway, the idea is that you set CAGS (using LS1 Edit or other programmer) so that it still works, but only kicks in when >85Mph, or whatever suits you, so that when you're at the strip and you're in 3rd gear, you CANNOT shift back into 2nd gear.
Apparently (Mike?) Harlan of Harlan Shift Lights is working on a unit to do this, but still in the development phase.

Ooops, I meant to post this in Pit Road. If a Mod sees this, please move it.
