What AFR can I expect

on a stock z06 with LGM headers..I want to scale the PE ratio down a bit (leaner) before I dyno the car.. Of course I don't plan on doing anything radical until I dyno it with a wideband, I just want to know whereabouts I should be.

I would suggest that you work on zeroing your LTFT's. I would suspect that since you were tuned before putting the LGs on you are positive by about 8 to 10.

Sorry for not being specific when I posted - I meant AFR at WOT. I've been working away at the LTFT's for awhile

I'd take a guess and say you go rich.

The pcm is really tough on protecting those new material cats(2002 to 2004 model years) when they see increases in airflow through the maf..

Sometimes..you see the fuel enrichment protocol dumping fuel in with increases in airflow like headers/intakes..etc..to cool down the exhaust gases..

I think your safe running the car hard with headers..and that ls1edit will be used effectively to allow the car to run leaner..and even more powerful

I've disabled all the COT protection stuff with HPtuners (cat over temp) since I'm not running cats. I've got the LTFT's locked down to around -3 to 0 in almost all acceleration conditions.

I'm just wondering if there is any "safe" figure on how much richer you go from installing headers(in an AFR sense), since I'd like to make some changes before I go to dyno in a couple of weeks.
