Call LG!, The extensions should have come FREE in the Header box.
Let us know what LG says.

If you plan to move your rear sensors to the front position as LG usually recommends then you should have two adapters about 4 inches long in the box with the headers . These will adapter the square connection of the rear sensor to the flat connection of the front wiring harness. If you want to run your front sensors in their orginal position you will need two flat to flat extensions. I ordered mine from Summit Racing and 12" was the shortest ones they had.

sounds short, was that long enough to route it out of the way of the headers or would you go longer if you can do it again?
I ask because the set I made was about 17" I believe

Twelve inches was plenty long. I used clips from the hardward store and removed two or three bolts from the plate that runs down the center of the tunnel put the clips on with the tunnel plate bolts and tighten everything up. The wires are away from the headers and no trouble so far.

Re: What length O2 Sensor extensions for LG LTs

Having just completed this a few weeks ago, here's my $0.02.

I too bought 12" extensions in an attempt to reuse the stock front O2 sensors in the front positions. The passenger side was in fact a few inches short with the 12" entenstions the way I routed the wire which I attempted to keep as close to the original routing as possible. The driver's side looked like it would reach with the 12" extension. Since I was at an impasse on the passenger side and with all of the probs I encountered to that point I decided to just run O2 sensors in the front positions and have the rear ones tuned out. Not to mention the debate that was going on over which of the OE sensores would work best in which positions.

I figured this was the way LG ran all of their systems before the latest design had provisions for all (4) O2 sensors. So, all I did was take the rear O2 sensors and with the LG provided adapters, placed them in the front positions. I now need to get the car tuned to get rid of the codes from the missing rear O2 sensors. I've put a 100 miles or so on it and aside from those codes it runs fine. It might be a cop out on my part but frankly, I was ready to get it all back together. In the process, I replaced the tunnel plate with an Elite Eng Thermal ABS, new GM iridium plugs, and Magnecore wires.

Good luck.
