What would the cost be?

I had owned a M roadster and have a very good friend who runs a M3 on the track. So have had been around BMW's. I have done a fair amount of DE's in my Z06, running with a fair amount of M series car's on the track.

The Z06 is one awesome car as compared to the BMW. Yes the M3 cost is more then a Z06 and yes the Z06 on the track is superior. Best bang for the buck without a question.

But lets all face it if you track the Z06 and you want to go fast and keep the car running you must make many changes. Seats, oil coolers, trans coolers, diff cooler, better rotors, etc.. GM design practices are driven by penny pinch money grubbing Managers. It would be interesting what the cost of the Z06 would become if GM addressed the short comings?

$65000 (How's that for starters ?) Consider developing a good cooling and better braking system ... working it out w/ OEM parts providers, and then packaging it as a Z06-S package for example .... I think that's about where you'd walk out at, once all is said and done.
