Where to get new Hazard Switch (Another "turn signals quit" occurance)

Hey guys,

I've got the same problem lots of people have, my turn signals are intermittent at best. I've had to resort to banging on the dash right above the hazard switch to get them to start working again. It really looks great in traffic when the guy in the Corvette beats the shit out of his dash like he's upset with his car

Anyway, just wondering if anyone had a part number for the switch, a good place to get one, or if I should just break down (no pun) and go to the dealer and order one. Thanks.

I cant put my hands on the p/n at the moment, but here's a link to it on Fred Bean's site.

edit again: orig. p/n is 10406626 and has been replaced by 10359036. If you enter the orig p/n on Fred Bean's site it tell you what the new p/n is but wont allow you to add it to your cart. However if you search by keyword "hazard" it will add to your cart. In any case the part will be ~$26 from your discount parts supplier of choice.

When I replaced mine I went in through the radio hole and accessed the switch from behind. There's a how-to on that somewhere but I cant find the link. It was certainly easier than taking the dash apart though.

I can check too, but by the time I post the part number, it will have already been posted. I have one sitting in my closet awaiting the day i feel like tearing apart my dash area. Yes, i seen the thread too about removing it from under/behind. Must remove center console, AC unit. radio etc. Then somehow slip it out from underneath. When you do it, maybe you can take some photos and post a dummies "how to" in 10 easy steps.
