Who drives on the dyno?

Who does the driving on the dyno, the owner of the car or the dyno operator?

Here in KC, you have your choice. The owner/operator can run your car if you ask. They also let you run it yourself.

It all depends on you. If your not comfortable then the dyno operator will run your car for you

Also depends on the shop - some of their insurance won't allow a non-employee to operate the car on the dyno - in fact, I'd be willing to bet that most of them don't, the shops just don't care.

I've done it both ways, and the shop I go to now I just let the owner do it.
