wshifter stuck in 4th gear

Has anyone had this happen my shifter stuck in fourth now every time I'm shifting into 4th gear it grinds real bad....what do i do i have a kirban shifter {that i don't really like} should i take it off before i go to the dealership? for warranty work?

i would remove .........just in case.....they may try to tell you that is whats causing the problem

i don't see how in the hell they could tell the difference between the kirban and the stock shifter its not much different...

Syncro time...........get it out...........be safe, not sorry......
Typically they will use anything they can to deny you warranty......even though there have been hundreds of trannies with the same problems.......( clutch issues).

Just like Z06LS6 said, I have had the same problem, Syncro Time. I had it fixed the first time, Two months later they had to replace the Trans completely. If you know the dealer well I would leave the shifter on. If not well???
