Z06 Lug Nuts ???

I bought my car with chrome wheels. I have just bought a set of OEM Z06 rims. My question is: Do the Z06 vettes have lug nuts that are grey to match the color of the rim?

The guy at the chevy parts house had lug nuts that were stainless steel. He said they were the ones the parts computer called for. Is he correct?

Anybody have part number handy?

My 2002 came with the grey ones,i believe ecklers sells them.

I just purchased one this past weekend at the Knoxville corvette show from a vendor i paid $2.50,got the part # right off the package,added the other part you will need if you want to use the gray cap.

2003 Z06's came with chrome lugs.

Mine are two piece. The nuts are just anodized steel, and the screw-on caps are gray plastic.

Late 02 is stainless steal with the gray rims.

So, I guess both are correct. Depending on when it was built. I guess the ones i have seen use the steel nuts with screw on plastic caps. Looks like the lug nut and cap set from Mid America is the way to go.
