No problem at all. And I even cleaned them with prep-sol when the car was new.

What kind of problems?

1. They do grow on you.
2. They will chip
3. They do polish up well
4. They are removable
5. They are replaceable

They will crack and start peeling after a few years if they hold true to any other decals. Like said, they can be replaced, but will get expensive and annoying. I know from experience with just the pinstripe decals used on the GS's. Glad the center white stripe was painted or would have been trouble. Plus you had to be careful with the side hash marks decals when washing and polishing, have seen them start peeling. The main thing to watch out for on your Z16 decals is when polishing and waxing around the edges. Be careful not to wipe up towards the edges, that is where the damage will begin.

Peeling Stripes

What are you saying here ? The wax/polish will get under the edge of the stripe and cause it to lift ? What Polish/Wax do you like/use ?? I am told that the stripes/decals are only available from GM if you provide your Vin# By The Way. Thanks and Regards ... Yak

The wax or polish won't cause the stripes to peel. The wiping against the edges will if you use force toward them, be careful around the edges. Plus the wax or polish will get under edge of stripes and can be hard to remove too.
