I will again be leading a pack of Corvettes for a ROMP through some gorgeous Kentucky countryside to the Maker's Mark distilleriy. The road tour will be Thursday morning, October 18, 2007. We will leave from in front of the Baymont Inn and Suites in BG at 8:40 am sharp. I have scheduled a 10:00 am Distillery tour for anyone that is interested. The tour is free of charge.
For those of you who have gone on this ROMP previously, you know what to expect, this is not your typical NCM road tour. For those of you who might do this for the first time, hold onto your hats, this is an opportunity to drvie some great back country roads at a pace slightly above normal (hehehehe).
THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL NCM Z06 FEST EVENT. YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS ON THE AGENDA OF THE FEST, NOR DO YOU NEED TO SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE. IF YOU WANT TO GO SIMPLY BE ERADY TO LEAVE THE BAYMONT ON THURSDAY MORNING AT 8:40 AM.
WE WILL HOLD A DRIVER'S MEETING AT APPROXIMATELY 8:25 AM IN FRONT OF THE BAYMONT WHERE DIRECTIONS WILL BE HANDED OUT TO EVERYONE AND THE "RULES" WILL BE DISCUSSED.
We are set to go, Maker's Mark is looking forward to having us visit again, let the games begin...
After a year's worth of driving experience...drag racing, a few HPDE's........I would sure love to drive this one this year as opposed to being a passenger last year.
Have a great time guys!!

Are we going to keep the tradition going and blow through the little town right before we get to the MM plant?
Jack
Don't be starting sh!* now Jack. We don't want the same "escort" as last year
Remember to bring FRS radios
