Good Morning!

We finalized a plan with Beech Bend. We will have drag racing! Here is the catch though...

In order to get the fully prepped and staffed track Beech Bend needs the following...

$2500

That equates to 50 drivers at $50 per driver.

The NCM will not be making a dime, so please do not this this...We also will not front the money and lose it, so we must have a accurate head count.

Please only say you will participate IF you are willing to pay the money.

Adam,

First of all, thanks for working out a deal.

Second, you can count me in for $50. At 15 passes, that's a little over $3.00 a run.

Adam, does that mean we will get our choice of day and time, or have all day (and/or night) ?? I assume this is separate from the autox event (and any costs).

How much for participants and does that money go toward the 2500.00 ?

It is $50 per person driving..

All $50 goes towards the $2500..

Spectators will pay $5 per person to watch...If we are close we may need to raise the spectator rate to $10...This is something to discuss with BB and folks here at the NCM..

I'm good with the 50.00 but the Friday night test & tune might be fun. How many cars do they normally have on Friday nights?

Not sure...It would be like $15 per person, but not just Z06s...

Adam ... do you need a commitment count to go forward, or are you going to add it to the registration page, with a "countdown tree" to 50 to confirm the go?

Count me in to commit and pay, whether I run or not.

We need a commitment of 50 to make this happen.

We will be adding the Drag Racing Registration to the registration page to promote it to the non-Z06vette.com folks..

If we do not get the 50 people then we will refund a full 100% refund..

This is something to consider and believe me it has been..

The timing equipement will cost $15K and the track, design, etc will cost MEGA bucks...

Let's stay on track though..

I once dreamed that GM would open up their Michigan track to Corvette track days ... aka "HPDE". then I woke up.

Now, dreaming out loud ... if we petitioned GM to establish a track next to the plant ... they gotta wring out some samples anyway ...

I mean, why do they include the track teaser in the video ???
Where do we generate the petition?

I can honestly say that will not happen...

Plus, we want our own track not run by GM...

Adam, before you commit.

I would have the fifty or so that say they will commit to prepay. IE. Paypal

This would ensure you that the money will be there.

Maybe you can set up a separate acct for this purpose.

I am willing to throw in $50, even though I will probably not run.

Due to personal demons.
