Not Too Happy Today
I've been laying low lately with medical issues we've had to deal with.
But may have to miss this year's Fest, and I'm not very happy with that.
In the last 3 months or so:
Had 3 teeth removed, and one dental implant, diagnosed with leaking heart (mitral) valve, continual battle with Graft vs Host diesease of the skin (long term after effect of stem cell transplant 9 years ago), on/off various meds or steroids with no success so far, dermatologist surgicaly removed two skin lesions yesterday, and one of those won't stop bleeding, the other is an early form of skin cancer. Waiting for pathology results to determine what's next.
Started a special blood infusion process 2 weeks ago that required a surgical insertion of a "port" in my chest. That was necessary in order to complete a 2 to 3 month "photo-pheresis" procedure that utilizes the port to treat my white blood cells for the graft vs host. Treatments take 3 hours twice a week, and after each treatment can not be exposed to sunlight (UV rays) for 24 hours. That means stay indoors during daylight! Bottom line? Can not go outside until noon tomorrow.
Sorry for the rant, but sometimes it helps just to get all this off my chest.
Wowzer... I kept seeing you replying to inquiring "Should I get a Z06?" people things like "you never how many hair cuts you have left, enjoy life fully NOW!", which I never fully agreed with 'cause, you know, saving money is always a good thing... But dang now I totally hear where you're coming from!!!
Hang in there Zippy, hope they'll fix you up soon!
Sorry to hear this brother.....If it make you feel any better, take a cruise in that spanking new Z and smoke the hell out of them tires!!! (Might make you feel good)
Hang in there buddy.....

Tony, God Bless and hang in there. God never gives you more than you can handle. I look at life as a book. This is just one chapter. The next chapter will be better. Get well and this will be behind you. Jim
