Re: A short video from the first Fest
I bet it was a good one judging by the amount of cars there. Going through the archives are you? My first one in 2005 had over 300 registered people. What an awesome sight, 300+ Z06's in the parking lot of the Hampton and Baymont hotels.:cool:

Yep. I've started backing up all of my old videos from my 10 yr old CamCorder. I'll be posting more.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Had my 427TT delivered at the Fest, in the rain, from Lingenfelter. Finally got a little break in the weather. JC wanted a ride. Took him out on the highway and ran it up to about 150. JC didn't say much, I think I scared him. Ahh yes, the crazy days of my youth. It was a great Fest.
That was when the Fest was at its height. Imagine the insanity that would reign down if we could get that kind of crowd now that we know what we're doing...
100+ cars on the run to Maker's Mark, nightly raffles with 200 people attending, the welcome BBQ.
One day we will get back to that...
BTW, anyone notice the date of that 300+ car event, it was in September...

That was one Fun event! Met a crazy blind hockey stick carryin' albino leading the northeast caravan through all kinds of cow fields!
Even though hurricane Isabella came through...it was a BLAST!!!
Man, I remember that one! Sh*t, guess its because thats the only one I have been able to make it too.....but I had a friggin blast and I am hoping to finally return to the Fest this year (fingers crossed), but this time I'll fly my Z instead of a helicopter up there.

Hey Jimbo,
Yeah, the Z is back together. Not better than ever though, I am still fighting the friggin popping out of reverse thing, annoys the piss outta me. But I drove it to MO and it works fine so it should get me to the Fest...if the planets are aligned properly this year!
Man I hope I can make it! It would be great to see everyone again and drink copious amounts of Bud Light and Jack Daniels!
