I just wanted to say "thank you" to all who attended the fest! I had my seven year old son, Garrett, with me and you made him feel right at home. I was worried that four days at the fest might get a little boring for him, but he didn't want to go home on Sunday. As we drove past the museum, he wanted me to get off the freeway and see if any of you were still there! As I have often said, this site has some of the BEST people on it that you could ever come in contact with!!
P.S. A special thanks to Garrett's new "Best Friend", Zippy. You made a friend for life!!

Yes, it was Garrett that won the bid. He went after that Z06 R/C with a vengence. Thanks to Garrett (and his dad, Tom) and everyone that participated in the benefit auction, the Z06 owners contributed $4,612 towards the Land Campaign that evening.
Joe Harrington donated the Millennium Yellow C5 Z06 R/C which was signed by both Andy Pilgrim (Corvette Racing) and Ken Brown (Corvette Engineering).

Yeah, that was Garrett. Seven years old and he's already spending Dad's money. Everything that was put on the block he wanted me to buy. I would have liked to have gotten that quilt for his room, it's all Corvette stuff in there. The auction had a lot of really nice things and went for a good cause.
Thanks for the kind words David. Garrett sure enjoyed meeting all of you. (As I did also) Next year should be even bigger and better! Make your plans early!!
