Folks, it has become appearant the FRCTom will not be attending (or tuning) at the Fest this year. We haven't hear a peep out of Tom for 3 months.
Every Fest we have a large number of people who would like to get their Z's tuned at during the event and with that in mind, we have managed to arrange for a professional tuner to take care of those interested.
His name is Nick and he is the tuner from MC Racing here in Kansas City. Although his partner Matt has attended the last few Fests, Nick has not been able to take the time away from the shop to attend until this year.
Folks, I can tell you from personal experience that Nick is excellent at tuning. He has tuned hundreds of C5Z's and C6Z's over the last few years and there are few that can do it any better.
Nick will be available for tunes starting on Thursday morning (September 11th) and can take people on an 'appointment basis' or 'first come first served'. If you wish to arrange a time in advance, please use this thread to do so.
Nick can tune modified Vette's or bone stock Vette's (for those with C6Z's that haven't made modifications, a tune all by itself can really wake up the beast). He can also eliminate cags, etc when he does the tune. I believe Nick uses Ls1edit for C5Z's and HP Tuners for C6Z's. He can also clean up small issues you may be having with your Z.
Nick has indicated he would discount his pricing for Fest members to $300 for Naturally Aspirated Z's and $400 for Forced Injection Z's.
Once again, let me state that I have full confidence and first hand knowledge of Nick's tuning skills and hope that a lot of you will take advantage of this arrangement while at the Fest.
Nick will try and monitor this thread so those wanting to make advance arrangements, please indicate it here.
