Last year, it seemed like half the group attended the Z06 Banquet on Saturday nite and the other half went somewhere else. I just wanted to find out what people are doing this year.

Let me know if you're going to the banquet or if you decided to go somewhere else.

I have bought a ticket every year, but even though I paid I skipped out last year and went got me a steak....filet, med rare, garlic mashed potatoes, a MM/diet and took my dessert back to the room for a 2 am snack.

Kinda made me mad seemed like a few years in a row they kept running out of food, and price keeps going up, heck I can get a much better dinner right by the hotel.

I have attended the banquet every year, and this year it's going to be at the Museum, so I'm going to sign up for it, and besides, it 's usually the last time I get to see some of the group until the next Fest, as alot of folks leave right after the banquet or very early Sunday morning for home. I don't think I'm gonna break tradition and not attend.

I signed up for it, ... and the drags ... and the autox ... none of which I'll be able to do

, as I can't bring my car and have to leave Friday noon for St. Louis on some Corvette-related club business

... so I'm mooching a ride down with Mike (mjustmike) Tues ... anyone need a navigator for the W.A.R.T?

I wanted to attend the Z06 Fest with my 15 year old nephew, but he'll be back in school!

It would have great experience 4 him since his dad is Military and deployed in Iraq.

What's wrong with late August when most families take their vacation time?!!
