Due to storms doesn't look like we will be attending the Fest. We live on the water and have days of preperation to accomplish. My wifes and my jobs both require we work during storms and after.

I have contacted the staff and I am trying to send the large banner and some aliens to the event.

PS - Haven't cancelled my Reservation yet just in case the storm turns and go south!!

Sorry to hear you guys won't make it. Just arrived in BW this evening. Already 15 or 20 Vettes in parking lot at Hampton Inn. Gonna be some fun times in the next few days

I'm gonna be late thanks to Mother Nature having her panties all wadded up! I still plan on flying the helicopter up there but won't be able to launch outta Pensacola until Friday, barring another weather issue. Still looking forward to meeting all you folks Fri sometime.

Looks as if you guys will get in a little REAL IFR time on the way up there.
May be able to get on top but I haven't heard any top reports.
I think you'll get to punch up and punch down anyway....er...
I mean flog up and flog down.

Phrogs,

I'm looking at the weather....looks as if fallout from the hurricane is going to make it be a soggy weekend in BWG.
I had today and Friday and Monday off but because of the weather came on to work today.

Still undecided on making the 6 hour drive up there.

The Super Chevy Show is in MGM this weekend so may just go over there for a day or so.
Corvette Expo at Knoxville is coming up the end of next month anyway and I'm all primed to go up there.

You should have a pretty quick trip up there with all that wind pushing. By Sunday it'll probably all be blown on over.

Hope everyone has a great time there even if I don't make it.

VetNutJim, give it a shot man, go ahead and go! It'll be worth it. After not being able to fly out yesterday or today I thought about taking leave and griving up there and probably would have if the Z didn't have a slight rear axle leak.
I got approval to leave Fri, weather permiting, if I have to jump into the soup to get there then so be it but I am going to give it a shot. Of course if I can't fly up on Friday then the chances of me making it are slim, guess I better get to doin the anti-rain dance !!!!!!
I certainly hope you can make it man, if not it sounds like you have the car shows all mapped out.
