Whether we use the Z06 Fest name or ZSpeed or XYZ deluxe fest, there will be a fest and you will be invited. We love this event regardless of what we call it. Stay tuned for further information.

LS15 Power! Another LS engine comin' up.
We are seriously considering having it the same weekend as the Holley LS Fest that is held at Beech Bend Raceway in early September. Myself and some of the other Mods have already discussed this at this years Fest and it seems like a good alternative. I don't see running it in conjunction with the NCM anymore unless they belly up to the bar and SERIOUSLY promote the event, which they failed to do this year. This years "ZpeedFest" was the least attended Fest ever because of lack of promotion.
One way or another we will have a Fest in 2013, stay tuned as we will probably start making solid plans after the 1st of the year!

As Jim said, we are considering doing it in conjunction with the Holley LS Fest in early September. The weather will be nice, they have 3 days of drag racing events at Beach Bend, along with auto-x, and drifting, we will do our BBQ, and the MM run to complete the weekend, sounds like a good time.
I will be talking with the NCM this coming week to see what they have found out. They were going to contact Holley to see how we might best combine the events under the LS Fest banner.
So keep your eyes open for coming details...

I'd love to have it the same time as the LS Fest. I really wanted to go this year but some brat changed our plans. LOL
I think I know who that brat is.

Re: Z06 Fest
It's good to know plans are in the works. I'll pencil in the date.
I'm working on my list of things to do at the next fest:
-ignore work calls
-turn right at the roundabout on the WART
-actually participate in the events I paid for

I like the idea of in conjunction with the LS Fest
hey that was my idea...i asked the forum about the lsfest in 2010, and not a chirp...the prob right now is that they are concentrating on camaroes, so i believe the main categories are not for vettes, otherwise, i would have gone this year. True-Street is the only category open to me, and it is a 30 minute drive followed by three consecutive passes, but i might be there, if only to thumb my nose at you all...Vegas sounds like a keeper.
