Kinda low salary dont you think??? I am looking for something to do in Dallas. I am in Iraq and want to come home. I work in transportation and dont think I would be able to come home for 28-38K. Just my honest answer.

Steve,
I appreciate your honesty. 28K to 38K for an "entry-level" position is more than fair. I suggest you keep looking at the current job market. Good luck.

Bradly, the current job market vs. COL ( cost of living) in Dallas is to add 5,000 to your salary. maybe a greenhorn would love that kinda money. I will stick to my Halliburton "tax-free" job in Iraq. 130,000 tax-free sounds better than the pocket lint you're paying. oh and claims adjusters start in dallas at 40-46..in case you are wondering. even entry level.

Alright stevep1794, thats enough, don't come into someone's post and start trashing that member. If you are not interested in the job simply don't apply for it, but don't trash the opportunity.

I am glad you are doing so well in the Middle East, so if you are not interested in this opportunity then stay there and keep your mouth shut.

Mark

Hey Steve:

Lighten up and chill! This is a car forum. If you have such rage, I'm sure there are plenty of people in Iraq to take it out on!!! Doncha think?

BTW/IMHO - In the car business - I process loan applications all day long! And everytime I see someone who makes "big" bucks, the bar gets raised. We get people in here all day long who get 7-figure annual bonuses!

No, I never have enough (time, money and other things), but I'm ok with where I am. And after being in the merchant marine for 20 years, being overseas a lot making your money and more as Captain, I can honestly say I'm happy with a pay cut being able to go home every night, see my Z in the garage every day, and jump on my bike and ride!

Cheers

Jim
