I am the CFO for a small Government contractor in Fairfax, VA specializing in the intelligence field.
We have a requirement for a software engineer to support the SESS contract. The task order consists of working with and managing a computer based Learning Management System, enhancing and improving content, and web-enabling the training content. The skill set required is Java, XML, system administration, and some networking knowledge/experience. If you have experience/expertise and interest in these areas this is a great opportunity. Attached is a summary of the technical requirements as stated in the task order. The plan is for the work to be primarily accomplished at TMA with frequent trips to Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. However, the customer would prefer the work to be performed on-site in Dayton.
The level of effort required, for 12-months, is 2200-hours. The expectation is that approximately half of these hours would be for software engineering and the other half would be for content development and improvement. The content development would be accomplished by our Training/Documentation staff. It is also anticipated, but not guaranteed, that this effort might be continued beyond the initial 12-months. The security level for this effort is up to TS/SCI//HCS/SI-G/TK and may require a polygraph.
If you are interested please let me know no later than Monday noon (8-21-06), resumes are required. Our proposal is due by COB Monday 21st
