New, near $7-800 bucks, but if you do a little searching you'll find they are available as rebuilt units at substantially lower cost. I got mine under warranty, so I didn't really pay a lot of attention to how much $ it was...

i agree with speedy... it should be a recall!!! i think everyone that has owned a z06 has had to have this ebcm replaced. i just got mine (new ebcm) today and am not looking forward to replacing it but will be glad to have it fixed. I wanted to take the time to say thanks to all of the members here that have discussed this topic and given instructions, comments, experiances with this unit and how to change it. I have read many threads on this subject and i think i can fix mine myself because of this forum. by the way i was able to get a BRAND NEW ebcm for $512 shipped but i still thought it should have been a recall and replaced for FREE. THANKS again for the help and advise in these forums!!!
