ALARM Ghost HELP!!!

I have a 99 frc with the factory alarm. I am using the factory fob. The fob training recognizes the fob. The fob seems to work fine at first but all by it’s self it then opens arms and locks it’s self and then it will open its self and locks back again. I purchased a new fob (now for sale) and it's still acting up.

Ideas???

Aaron - I sthere a FOB nearby that is sticking? Maybe it is picking that up. Di dyou try this elsewhere, like at a local supermarket, etc, somewhere that is far away from the house.....

Maybe try pulling the fuse for the alarm, leave out for 5 minutes, and resetting the fob.

Other than that, park it 4 doors down and dont worry about it. Hahahahaha

Let us know what the culprit is.....

Might even be a stuck door switch on the door panel? Try messing with the door panels on both sides to see if they all work.

Re: ALARM Ghost HELP!!!

Aaron - I was referring to the door push buttons, to lock, unlock etc. It is possible one is sticking, which is triggering a contact "as if" someone is trying to open the doors. Its just a shot in the dark. Try removing the door window/lock unlock control panel and check for corrosion, dirt, etc.

Otherwise, I would pull a fuse and try and reset it. I will look up teh alarm later on for you, ok?
