Code Help

I did a search but could not find my particular codes. (SpeedRachet's information on checking and clearing codes was excellent, Thanks). I have a number of right hand/left hand door codes (6 each) but I am not too worried about them. I also have 1 seat code. The ones that worry me are:

P1415H and P1431H. My Check Engine light is on. Also, I have a Ligenfelter 427 so the engine is not stock. Any information would be helpful. I am somewhat hesitant to drive it right now.

Thanks,

Jack

Re: Code Help

The P1431 has to do with the right fuel level sensor and should not be turning on your check engine light.

Here is the information on code P1415: Click here for Information

Did any of the codes have a C after them?

Re: Code Help

Jack,
I'll try to remember to get my book with the complete code list out of the car tomorrow and look them up for you. I got the list off the dealers computer a couple of years ago and it's pretty complete. I'll let you know what I find tomorrow night.

Jimbo

Re: Code Help

Thanks everyone. Especially Z11409 for his website. It seems I have and "AIR System Bank 1" (P1415H), whatever that is and a "Fuel Level Sensor 2-Current Performance" (P1431H). That makes sense because I was driving the Beast one day last week. When I started home I had over a quarter of a tank on the guage and the HUD. I had driven about 20 miles and looked at the guage. It showed empty and my low fuel light was on. I could not figure that out because I get about 28 MPG (when I keep my foot out). Anyway, I think I will clear the check engine code. Got to figure out how to do that, but I appreciate all the help.
