code help

My LG Pros were installed and all was good till today. I changed the front o2 sensors to a new set of GM rear sensors per LGs instructions. Had about 4 cold starts and maybe 10 miles of driving and CEL came on. Had two codes P0133c and p0153c slow response bank1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. I replaced the sensors one at the time so I know they were not crossed and the car ran great. Also checked the fuse and retorqued the clamps. Any ideas from anyone.

Re: code help

It could also be due to an exhaust leak close to the O2 sensor.

In addition have you used any silicone sealants anywhere on/in the engine lately? That will contaminate the O2 sensors and result in that code as well. If you ever do make sure they are marked as "sensor safe" or for use with 02 sensors.

According to Lou there have been some problems with O2 sensors being fouled immediately after header installation due to left over oil inside the tubes that is used in the manufacturing process. This may explain your problem if an exhaust leak or external damage to the O2 sensor wires is not the problem.

Talk to Bobby at LG and he will get you straight.

Did confirm that there is a leak on each collector/cat connection. I can not get it to stop with the supplied clamps so I am going to buy some double bolt style and try that. No silicone used lately on the car.
