EGR not ready, Cat Not ready

I am trying to get my car inspected but the emmissions part is failing to due egr not ready error and catalyst not ready. I am getting p0420 and p0430 errors occasionly, but got them after the LG headers and rt cat install last year and the car still passed with not problems. For whatever reason, now the car cannot get the cats into ready status which I suspect is the rear 02's not turning on or heating up (No tune yet) which then sets the egr not ready code. Am I right or is something else going on? Would possibly burnt rear 02 wires cause this or are the 02 bad? I am going to replace the 02 harness Sat with new extensions from LGM. Any suggestions? 21'st CMC cant get to me till mid July so I cant get a tune yet.

not sure what your problem is but i had a similar problem.

when smogging my H/C SS.

after clearing all codes, i had to drive the car around 50-100 miles before the senors would respond.,
my tech said its common.
so maybe clear the codes.... and drive 50 miles and take it back to the shop and try it again.

Drove it for 100miles yeterday afternoon, no dice. Think the rear 02's arent working

i had a problem when one of my sims went bad.i didn't have any egr codes though.
