And you know how word of mouth is best for business. You don't need a shop or garage to do a tune the way I am seeing he does his. He may work right out of his garage, the way ALIENWARE Computers started up their multi million dollar business. 2 kids, and a dream.....

While not being an expert and knowing little,I gotta wonder,who being sound of mind mind for 59 seconds of every minute,would knowingly take a stock LS1 past the designated redline,not to mention 7300.

Well, here's the ending :
1. I tried to "Reconcile" w/him and jus asked for a block or crank..that's it..
he told me that "This is how these things go and jus sell your CCW's, to make
for it"......Well, that was enough to set me off and he pulled the "God"
card. PHYSCIALLY IM 230LBS (REFER TO PIC) HE'S 150LBS..BUT THE LAW STATE'S THAT'S NOT AN OPTION..GOD I WISH IT WAS!!!!
2. I posted what happened over on the Corvette Forum...they all jumped on me and this is what I got :
"SonofaDragRacer" Status - BANNED - REASON - HOSTILITY AND ATTACKING
BANNED LIFTED STATUS - NEVER!
3. My cousin is the State Attorney, legally I tried to go after him even through my families political connections..and by the book HE DOES NOT EXIST!!!! EVERYTHING IS IN HIS MOTHER'S NAME..So, lawfully I could'nt really attach any judgements..it would cost over 15K..for that.
4. So the ending of this story is as a good VIPER buddy told me :
"THE DESIRE TO MOD ONES VEHICLE IS GREATER THAN THE DESIRE TO HAVE COMMON SENSE!!!!"
So he remains in biz and making alot of money...when guys like (FRC TOM)WHO IS HONORABLE AND VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES..AND WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ANYBODY HERE, STRUGGLES??????? JUS AMAZING TO ME!!!

Damn bro, that is a messed up story. I read all the linked threads and the stack of people against you. Either way, just because someone has a good/great record does not make them impervious to mistakes. Also, the way they were jumping on you they expect you to have his knowledge of tuning. I mean seriously, how many corvette owners can explain tuning? That's why we are paying someone else to tune our cars.
Regardless you made your case on this forum and saved several members from a headache - sorry you had to pay the bill for it though. Like any member, we all depend on referrals - good or bad - and I hope you continue to share you experiences.
As far as losing CF.. go ask GarretZ about his experience. You can always get around it if you wanted a new member id.
I assume that's the Z06 for sale now?
edit: I was going to post but after seeing the lynch mob with torches I thought it was better not to. I'm thought it was very suspicous of someone offering "better" gas mileage after heads/cam.

Exactly! Thankyou, its like I'm the one who got his motor pooped on his watch and I'm the bad guy...He kept going for more and more I was so sick that day w/the flu or stomach..so he had my car on the dyno w/him in it and his foot on it...IT WAS HIS WATCH!!!! I WAS IN THE B-ROOM AND AFTER THE 5TH PULL...I THOUGHT "DAMN HOW HIGH IS HE TWISTING THAT DAMN THING?!?!?"..GO OUT..WATER ALL OVER THE GROUND W/HIM STANDIN THERE W/HIS FK'N HANDS ON HIS HIPS..LIKE NOT MY FAULT, GRINNING......
Trust me I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE HE HAS BLOWN UP AND GIVEN NO RECOURSE....
If I can save anybody's motor I'd do it in a heartbeat...I love these car as we all do.
