Jim Hall's New Tune

I have had several update tunes from Jim Hall. If you have a cam and the Killer Bee Jim's new MAF code dials in the fuel trims perfectly. Don't ask me how, I don't know. I do know my car pulls like the thunders of hell in 1-4. I have not had the space to try further but I will.

It is actually hard to keep traction in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Throttle response is just unbelievable! You have to feather the throttle in 70 degree weather (Atlanta) or the tires brake lose. And, my gas milage is going up with less surging! I have only tested for two days and a 500 mile trip but I can tell you Jim's lates tune ROCKS!

Jim, you are THE MAN! WOW!

Re: Jim Hall's New Tune

Nice, Killer Bee for the C6 is sweet.

Just ordered the Venom for the C5, speaking with Jim on how to upgrade to the KB without all the extra stuff, since the difference in price is ~$1100!

Re: Jim Hall's New Tune

I just got off the phone with Jim (a pleasure speaking with) and he's hooking me up with a nice deal for the C5 Killer Bee and new C6 MAF w/map!

Thanks Jim!

Re: Jim Hall's New Tune

Jim said they're building the custom C5 KB for me right now, should be arriving on Friday, just in time for the weekend. The maps should be ready for downloading before then.

I've had mine on ('02) for a few weeks now and am extremely satisfied with it.

Re: Jim Hall's New Tune

I had my '02 with the KB/C6 MAF sensor (along with updated MAF and PE/RPM codes and increased timing) dyno'd and gained 18 HP. I'm still running a bit rich in the 11.0-11.5 AFR range, so there's room to lean it out some more... Before, torque began falling off @ 4600 RPM, now it stays nearly flat to 5500 RPM before it begins to fall off steadily. Nice!
