P1275 and P1276 codes thrown

I finally picked up my 2002 EB Z06 and drove it about 2500 miles from AZ to VA over the last few days. With about 100 miles to go before arriving at home, I get the dreaded check engine light. After verifying that things were seemlingly ok, I chanced it and was able to get it home without issue; seems to be running fine, no loss of power.

Did a quick search here and found out how to access the codes in the DIC. The two current ones are P1275 (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Circuit) and P1276 (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Performance; this one was also in the history, which I cleared). However, when in manual config mode it won't let me clear those codes (engine off). I found the following post that addresses the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module:

Codes please help

One thing of note is that the car had a nitrous system removed and I believe the previous owner had to refit the intake, so I was wondering if perhaps this had anything to do with it.

If either of the other two APP sensors throw codes I'll be in limp mode and if all three are triggered, I'll only be allowed to idle (per the info in the above link).

Any advice would be much appreciated.

He might have had the nit. spliced into the tac harness check for a short.
I believe it would be the dark blue wire.

Re: P1275 and P1276 codes thrown

The nitrous system was from TNT and apparently it had a module that plugs in without any wire modification.

Another thing is that the fuel gage stopped working a few times during my trip back, displaying that there was no fuel so I used the trip mileage to determine how long I had until empty. It started working again after awhile each time, but after reading other sites it may be an issue with one or more grounding points where the connectors may have become corroded.

I won't have time to inspect them until the weekend, but wanted to post the additional info in case anyone else has seen these symptoms.

Ok, well, disregard the fuel gage issue, looks like I need to throw a bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus in to clean the fuel gage sensors and then run Techron or V-Power fuel.

Really could use some help... I can't pass emissions with the check engine light on, meaning I can't register the car with the state until it passes.

Re: P1275 and P1276 codes thrown

Well, just to report back, I fired it up the next day and the check engine light was gone, so I went to have it tested for emissions and it didn't fail, but was rejected due to the Component and Catalyst sections not being ready for testing. Guess I need to run some more cycles.

Re: P1275 and P1276 codes thrown

Passed emissions this morning, but these codes continue to be listed as current. Having it dyno tuned today, the tuner is going to check this out.
