Skip shift light used for RPM shift indicator

Does anyone know if any tuning software out there will support this?

It would really be nice to have the light programmed to come on when its time to shift, instead of the 1-4th skip.

tia.

Actually the upshift light does come on in the Red Zone

The HUD shift indicator will only work when you are in the rev limiter operating parameters (red zone RPM indication). Check out your owner's manual, it is mentioned in there. Not really designed for "perfomance shifting" but more as a safeguard.

Consider a Raptor shift light?

Easy to mount and wire. And bright in the daylight even when your not paying attention. Really helped my shifting (along with the Hurst) -- have 2 for a medium and high RPM level.

This can be done thru LS1edit. Mine is set up this way. Limiter set to 7000, "shift light" at 6500. Car makes power to 6500, so why not use it

I agree with the Raptor approach. It's small and IMPOSSIBLE to miss the light flashing in your eyes.
