I read alot (through this site mostly) about getting your Z tuned. Anyone know of reputable tuners in the northeast ohio area? I have also thought of sending the pcm out to get tuned

Not sure if this is close enough for you, but Chuck Mallett has extensive experienced with hi-performance Vettes. His ship is in Berea, Ohio..near Cleveland.
Call Chuck Mallett at Mallett Cars in Berea, Ohio. His shop is just off Bagley Road past the RR tracks on the Northe side of the street in a small industrial park.
He and his brother lance are very good.
Tell him I sent you.

for the record I saw on this site that maybe mallett would not touch a car that others have touched......it seems that mallett has soooooo much buisness that they ONLY do tunes or anything on Mallett cars. This was from Chuck at Mallett. or maybe a soldier doesnt make enough money to spend at a place like that but thank you for the info anyway
I would like to suggest Hutter Performance Center as an option for you to consider. We have a large amount of experience with LS powered vehicles. We use a Mustang 1750 dyno and HPtuner software. Check out our website www.hutterracing.com for a look at our history and current activities.
I chose to go with Hutter Performance and scheduled a dyno baseline for this morning. I must say that the folks at Hutter were very professional and a big help to a dyno virgin. I will post the copy of the dyno later but my third pull was the best. 376hp at 6477 rpm and 359 ft-lbs torque at 4500 rpm. I was very happy with the results and the shop. I will be going back for all my mods. Great family feeling there. thanks for the help from those who posted on this site. understand that the temp outside was 25 degrees and the hood was open during the dyno and the dyno was a mustang 1750 as mentioned before by Mr Ron Hutter
