Tunning a cam?

I have a fairly big cam, TSP233/239 112lsa. After tunning it still surges going at slow speeds. I was wondering if it could be better. My tuner told me it is as good as it can be with a cam that size. My question is can it be tuned so parking lots are not a adventure?
Thanks Brian

Yes it can! My cam is very close in spec to yours and my car drives perfectly. You need to find a different tuner who is willing to take the time to drive around with you and "street tune" the car. Come on down to the Winterfest inPHX at the end of the month and get together with FRC Tom.
I guarantee he will get it right!

Tom is awesome. He sits in the passenger seat and has you do some test driving where you simulate fast stops, parking lot events, etc.

Hey Rock, Im curious if you know how much RWHP you picked up from a CAM that size?? Is the 418 RWHP you have listed include any other mods to your car?? Thanks and good luck with tuning in your cam.....

I went to a dyno day, same dyno 2 weeks before the cam went in and it made 371rwhp and 356rwtq. It seemed a little low for LT's no cats and a Blackwing. Also it had 410 gears. So the cam package and underdrive pulley go me almost 50rwhp and 26rwtq.

My tuner did a street tune with me, took about 45min to a hour of starting and stopping. He got it a lot better than before the tune. I came back to him about 4 weeks latter because I thought it could be better. If Tom could help me I will make the trip. It would be nice to meet you guys anyway.

Not a very big cam Rock.
I just did a 242/252 112 for Jim (spdrcrj).
You bring it to AZ I'll get it right.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! I knew Tom would chime in here sooner or later. Come down to Phoenix, Rock. The gang would like to meet you also! I guarantee you'll have a great time and make this a yearly trip like we all do! What could be better? Play with your car at the dyno and tracks during the day and party with a bunch of Z06 freaks every night! Hope to see you there!

Go see Tom. Your tuner is wrong. I have no surging, cold or hot.
