Vararam V2 & Lean Codes

Have a Vararam V2 on a stock 04 Z and I'm getting Check Engine Light Lean Bank Codes. Any easy fix here? Thanks.

Re: Vararam V2 & Lean Codes

FWIW - I just went thru a similar fiasco with another popular make of aftermarket intiake for my 2002 Z06 - ended up returning the intake for refund.

In my case- no leaks and no vacuum leaks. But after several ( i.e. more than 6 ) complete installs, changing the MAF, and idle re-learns I still got the Lean Codes P0171 & P0174.

Short of a custom tune - which is ridiculous for just an intake, my car throws the lean codes. I spent hours reading on all the corvette forums I could find and determined the lean code issue after adding intakes is common for the 2002-2004 Z06's. The cure- a custom tune.

Good luck ! The installations are not rocket science - but do check for loose connections aft of the MAF. Use starter fluid and spray - if sucking in unmetered air the engine will surge and you've located your leak.
